John ‘Benny Blanco from the Bronx’ Leguizamo and Donnie ‘yup, Mark is my brother’ Wahlberg come head to head in Spike TVs The Kill Point.

The eight hour, eight episode, TV series details the complicated negotiation process between Mr. Wolf (Leguizamo) and Captain Horst Cali (Wahlberg) after Mr.Wolf and his comrades fail in their attempts to rob a bank. The shows creator is James DeMonaco who a few years ago, wrote The Negotiator which featured Kevin Spacey and Samuel L. Jackson.

The Kill Point also reunites Donnie Wahlberg with Tobin ‘Jigsaw’ Bell with whom he appeared with in Saw 2 and 3. Tobin plays Mayor Alan Beck who gets caught up the bank robbery after he learns that his daughter is one of the many hostages contained within the bank.

Fantastic action sequences, great acting from a fantastic cast, quick witted dialogue and more twists and turns than a Twirly Whirly make this a highly enjoyable tale of cat and mouse.

There is a very strong pedigree on display and after watching the first two episodes, it comes very highly recommended.
