Phil linked me to Songza today and he added a little smiley face to the message. I guess he thought I might like Songza or something??

Well he is right. Songza is great!

This cute site is a seductive looking music search engine from which you can create playlists of your favorite artists.

It doesn’t work with Safari and they could integrate Youtube videos instead of linking off to them in a new window but besides from that it’s a brilliantly simple and functional website.

Yeah, the interface is well thought out and it’s a good stopgap for Pandora. I was away from my music collection for the weekend so I got some good use out of it.

It works on Safari 3.0 (Leopard version) for me.

Mm, it’s working fine now for me on Safari (latest version, whatever that is…3.04 or something). Not sure what happened earlier.

It’s a nice product and I suspect it will boom once they monetize it properly, allow accounts and provide deep linking to search queries.

    The UI is perfect.
