Behold some Nordic chill and deep grooves from Swedish electro duo Plej. I can’t get enough of their song ‘You’ from their album ‘Electronic Music From the Swedish Leftcoast’. And here it is..
Some of the best electronic music is hailing from Scandinavia at the moment; Royskopp, Bjork, The Knife and Cloud to name but four.
(can’t wait to hear more from Cloud..)
If you like Plej, you’ll probably love the likes of Bent, Norman Jay, Bentley Rhythm Ace and Danny Krivitt. I recently picked up the backlog of Bent’s stuff and I haven’t stopped listening to their tracks. Here is Bent’s Magic Love for your listening pleasure.
Down tempo electronic music seems to be coming back into play again. Thank jebus all the “Ibizia Chill Out” bollox didn’t destroy this type of music.

That song has a Jamiraqoui twang to it alright but the rest of the album has a deep house and jazz feel to it.

BRA, where are they now, eh?
They probably bought a small island of the back of that Lynx advert a few years back. Haven’t been seen since.
