Neither of these songs are particularly recent. The Whitest Boy Alive released ’Burning’ from their 2006 album ‘Dreams ‘ and the second video goes back a further 9 years to Reef’s 1997 release of their amazing ‘Glow’ album. ’Consideration’ was never released as a single by Reef but it’s easily in my top 5 favorite songs of all time. It’s a very special song, give it a listen for yourself:

It was only recently that The Whitest Boy Alive was recommended to me as a band I might like. Their videos, lyrics and music are all fairly thought provoking and moody. The video for Burning is very Ian Curtis-esqe while the bass and drums could have easily being commissioned on one of Joy Divison’s tracks.
