I’ve a funny feeling that McCain is going to be voted in, just the same way Bush was.

I really hope for the goodness of the U.S. that it doesn’t happen as McCain comes across as being a right gobshite.

Totally. And if he kicks the bucket during his time as Prez then an even bigger gobshite will take the reigns!

    1) He attended the church of a white-hating, radical pastor, had his children baptised by him and named his book after him. Then dropped him when it was revealed what a lunatic he was epically after his his “God damn America” sermons.

    2) Worked with and actively supported by Bill Ayers, radical who set off explosions and other terrorist type stuff. Great pal that. Hard to say your going to track down and kill terrorists when your pally with one.

    3) Claims he is of humble American stock, just like you and me, but in reality he is an elitist, educated in the best colleges and lived a wholly privileged life.

    4) Says he supports the troops, but wants to surrender Iraq to Al Queda, who are holding out in hope for and Obama president.

    Obama is another carter

I’m of ‘humble American stock’? That’s news to me. I always thought I was of humble Irish stock. What with me being born in Ireland to Irish parents who were both born in Ireland and other non-american humble stock related things. I didn’t realise America invaded Ireland after Iraq. That’s news to me.

But in saying all that, you’re entitled to your opinion. I wasn’t saying anything pro-Obama in my post. I was just pointing out that McCain’s anti-Obama videos are disgustingly offensive in what’s meant to be a democratic society.

    Is it not propaganda?

Is it disgustingly offensive to point out that the next president of the US worked closely with an unrepentant terrorist? That he sought spiritual guidance for 20 years from a radical anti-white preacher only to ditch him when he was found out?

Isn’t the whole point of a democracy is freedom to voice these opoinions? Obama is as good as anyone in rolling around in the muck - just look at the hatred the democrats heaped on Palin. I’m no fan of McCain, but he’s 100 times the dignity of Barrack Obama.

Dear God that country is mental, how the hell are they allowed to do that? Was in the states recently and the amount of ad’s just like that one are ridiculous.
I hate to say this but I can’t see Obama getting in though, he may have popularity in the media but I just can’t see it happening.

Benjamin Franklin said that anyone who sacrifices freedom for security deserves neither. Me, I’m all for McCain getting another eight years. Hopefully by then he will have buried it so far in mire that America will become as irellevent and redundant in military terms as has become in democratic and economic terms. Anyone who looks to America again as a beacon of light and hope for all free people is either deluded or a Republican or both.
