He made a joke of Ireland? The Eurovision IS a joke. The irony is lost on some people it would seem. To be honest, it’s time to follow in the footsteps of the Italians and just pull out of the farce. The Eurovision had its day. Time to wrap up.

“The Eurovision had its day. Time to wrap up.”
I’ll second that.

The people who paid to vote for Dustin made a fool of Ireland…
On Cork Independent today Prenderville is giving out about RTE for sending Dustin whilst blissfully ignoring the muppets who voted…

The Daily Mail had a huge clearer picture of him a few weeks back. The two guys who voice zig and zag/podge and rodge were there too.
I’m not sure why theres such a big deal surrounding Dustins failure, it was far worse when we sent those two foxy haired children out a few years back. Man that was bad, how did the song go again…. “Love can bring you down, love can fuck you up…” or something.

I’m sure the guy is getting paid handsomely for making a show of Ireland. The song is a complete and utter joke. How could you take a horribly looking puppet seriously ? He’s fine on children’s TV, but at a serious , or supposedly serious song contest it’s a bit too much , IMHO.

Bah, old news, I have seen pictures of him before.
Regarding the song/Eurovision, it amazes me how worked up people get about the competition. I really dont see it as that great an achievement if we won it.
Having said that, how anyone could have thought that this act was going to win is beyond belief. He actually farts half way through.
I grew up with Dustin on the TV everyday after school. I hope it does not affect his actual career, i.e. children’s entertainment.

I watched a few minutes of Dustin on Den TV, or whatever it is called now, a few weeks ago. He was very weak. Not too funny at all.
Last week I heard him on the Ray D’Arcy show on Today FM and he was hilarious. His humour comes out better when he has somebody to play off. Ray D’Arcy and Ian Dempsey brought the best out of Dustin. I think he would be better off stepping away from children’s TV and to do an adult show similar to Podge & Rodge or something.

yeah but I think that is what Dustin’s magic was
that he could say some of the most adult things on kiddies tv and get away with it. If he was to go on adult tv I dont think there would as much hype as Podge and Rodge I dont think adults would take to him that well in this kind of show.

I don’t have any idea about this man. Could anybody care to share what it’s all about?
Is it a stage show or something?

Dustin went on the ‘Late Late’ and his red LED said, “Get out of the garden Pat”
you gotta love that
