Ok, so maybe the post title is a bit misleading and maybe I’m jumping to conclusions and maybe I am over exaggerating things….but com’on it’s football, I have to add some bullshit.

I haven’t had a chance to read any papers this morning but after viewing the incident a while ago, I am concerned for the well being of AC Milian goalkeeper Dida. Clearly he is delirious as he is stretchered off the pitch. He is so delirious that he  puts the ice pack on his head rather than his neck. Poor chap. Dida slipped into a coma late last night and it’s touch and go as to whether or not he will line up in Milian’s next Seria A game. God sped Dida, God sped.

    test ———

good to see your blog back up (and the ability to post).

Let’s see if I can comment. Btw. I would disable the “Notify me of followup comments via e-mail” which is checked by default for comments.

Hi Paul, I changed the settings for the subscribe to comments plugin. I think the posting issue was to do with a new editor I installed a few days back. You would have thought that I’d test to see if it muddlied up anything, wouldn’t ya! But eh….No.

Don’t worry Cormac, I will still read.

Back to the video, that is pretty strange about Dida, I mean it didn’t look like he really got hit that hard.

Never underestimate how hard a Glasgow man can punch!

At least Dida got a two-game ban for his antics! I wouldn’t mind, but it was the only time in the game that he “dived” properly - as Johnny Giles punditted afterwards, he should also have been brought before UEFA on charges of impersonating a goalkeeper…
