Job Interviews in the next few Days

Finally got around to applying for some more jobs after flopping with the previous 100 or so attempts. Concentrated this time around on Technical Support positions as there seems to be a good few positions in that field and I need to get some expierence quickly.

I was hoping to get a call back regarding some positions availabe in Galway as a Technical Writer but i haven’t heard anything back. I know that SAP are hiring but i hear that it’s for mid to late August now.

I have an interview tomorrow for a position with Schlumberger who are positioned in Little Island, Cork. It’s phone based Technical Support. Sclumberger provide technology solutions to the oil and gas industry. I’ll be dealing with their clients and providing them 1st Level Support. Money is quite good. The positon is graduate based.

On Monday i will travelling up to Dublin for an interview for a position within the ESB on Fitzwilliam St. (where?). Here is the brief:
“IT Alliance are a Tier 1 IT Services company where we provide services and solutions in to Tier 1 companies such as HP, IBM, Siemens.

We currently have vacancy with one of our clients ESB on their 1st Level Support Team. ESB are located on Fitzwilliam St in the City Centre and potentialy they would like a graduate with some relevent IT experience.”

Sounds good. Money is very promising too but i’m more concerned with the expierence of course.

Both of these positons require a technical assesment but after the one I did last week for the TSB i’m prepared for anything now! Talk about impossible!
