Vista finally installed, but not on my PC….it’s on my iMac!

Last week I made a attempt at installing Vista on my bog standard PC, it feel on its hoop before the install even started. :(

This evening I decided to give Vista a second chance and opted to attempt another install, but this time on my iMac. As you can guess by the post title, Vista is currently sitting pretty without any hitches…well, nearly without any hitches. I’ll go into some nitty grittys tomorrow.

Here is a screenshot of the Mac’s spec via Vista’s Control Panel and also two screenshots of Vista at work.

Screenshot 2 - General Desktop
Screenshot 3 - Tabbed Viewing

I’ll post tomorrow about some of my findings.

You may be planning to answer these questions tomorrow, but here goes anyway…

    1. Are you “emulating” the PC environment or did you boot up Vista just like you would on a PC?

    2. How does one share files between the two OSes? I ask because for the time being I’d want to have access to both Windows and Mac applications.

    3. If I only wanted to use Vista, would you still recommend a Mac over a PC?

    4. Do you by any chance know which OS runs Photoshop faster?

A curious, PC-only mind wants to know!

No problem Marios, I’ll address all your queries. I might not have a chance this evening to complete the post but I’ll email you once it’s complete.
