James has launched Fluffylinkulator, a Google Raid Inclusion Tool to compete with Omniserve’s tool of the same name. Flufflinkulator harnesses the Google technology available at google.com/addurl while Omniserver’s tool is a blog post. Yes, a blog post.
Fluffylinkulator is a parody of a much touted feature offered by Omniserve by which they write a blog post that includes a link to their client site.
Eoin Costello states that their Google Rapid Inclussion Tool offers…
…free entry of their new site in our blog which, thanks to being indexed every couple of minutes by Google, ensures that the customer’s name and primary product area appears in Google organic results very quickly. This free post also includes a link to the customer’s site and we have tracked that click throughs to completed websites have occurred within minutes of the post being indexed.
Damien Mulley has a bit miffed by Eoin’s claims as he has being offering a similar service, ‘Fluffy Links’, for some time without realising it…and for FREE!
Ah well. I’m sure FluffyLinkulator will be as credible an SEO Tool as Omniserve’s offering.
