Just a quick post to let you know that Arne has released a new version of his Google Sitemap Generator for Wordpress.

    Sorry for this stupid question, but what does that sitemap do except that it makes a site map of your website? Is there any good reasons of using this Plugin, because I don’t yet :)

    Hi Kalle, you can use this plugin to create a XML sitemap which contains links to your most recently published content. This sitemap can then be submitted to Google and Yahoo. G and Y’s spiders automatically look for a sitemap.xml when they visit a website. This sitemap helps to navigate the spiders around your website in the hope that the spiders will index as much of your content as possible.
