While reading Maki’s guide to Stumbleupon I ’stumbled’ onto an article he linked to about how to promote your RSS feed.
Richard Miller has written a RSS based plugin for Wordpress which displays a message to your visitors asking them if they would like to subscribe to your RSS feed. The display of the message is controlled by a cookie which displays the message X times (x is the number entered into the plugin’s admin page). You can decide whether to display the message above or below the post’s main content and you can customise the message as you see fit.
Not only can this plugin highlight your RSS feed but it can also be used for advertising as it accepts html.
If you’re going to use this plugin then you should also install Orderedlist’s Feedburner Plugin
If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thank you for visiting! Cormac

Great find Cormac - it looks like the name of the plugin is “What would Seth Godin do?”…mmm

That’s an odd name for a plugin alright but it works like a charm.

I was searching for RSS plugins and stumbled upon your site. It seems this is a very nice plugin; however, will it appear in every post?
Are you currently using this plugin by the way?
Thanks,
Mnis

Hi Enfotainer, I use all the above mentioned plugins. The What Would Seth Godin Do? plugin appears in every post for the first 5 or so visits of a person.
