I hope this works! It looks really cool.
Flock has a feature which allows you to post a blog post via the browser. It supports Wordpress, Blogger and Typepad to name but three. It has a stunning GUI which features a WYSIWYG editor (a lot nicer than the wordpress one anyway), a spell checker, the ability to save a local copy of your blogpost and a few other features which I’m discovering as I type….

This week I’m taking a look at a few browsers which aren’t in the limelight as much as Firefox, IE7 and Opera. I’ll post up my findings when I’m finished.
So far so good for Flock….

I’ve been using flock for months now, because of its integration with photobucket.
I use IE7 for my “real” gmail account and flock for all my blogger account. It allows me to be stay signed into both at the same time. Works for me anyway.
In all this time I never knew about the blogging feature of it. I must try it out when i get back to cork. Thanks for the headsup!
No problem Gamma.
You can add the blog icon to your toolbar by going to view < toolbars < customise and then simply drag the blog icon onto the toolbar….or you can right click on a article and go “blog this”
I must spin by your blog when i have a chance actually…forgot to do so last time you posted. What part of Cork are you from? I’m from Ballincollig - the ghetto! Well…not really the ghetto
Do, its a bit quite for the last 2 weeks due to work being hectic but I have a load of good stuff in the pipe line, I just need to flush it out
I’m not originally from Cork at all, but you can find me in or abouts the Sundays Well area from thursday to monday, well roughly that area… don’t want to give too much away
[...] Last week I tested out Flock’s blog function. Flock lets you post a blog post to your Blogger, Drupal, LiveJournal, MoveableType, Typepad and WordPress blog. A cute little interface pops up on the screen if you right click and select ‘Blog This’. You can also customise your toolbar to add a Blog button. The blog function is a god-send. It looks a lot nicer than the default admin panel of wordpress and it cuts out the time needed to log into your admin panel too. Flock also provides you with an option of saving a copy of your blog post on your local hard drive . [...]
